Casa Emanu-El UMC is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Casa Emanu-El.

Sunday Services

Sunday School 9:45-10:45 am (all age groups)

Sunday Worship 11:00 am

Communion Sunday is  the first Sunday of every month.  Communion is served by intinction. The host (or bread) is served first. Hold the bread until the chalice is passed to you. Dip the bread in the chalice. In the United Methodist Church, the chalice is non-alcoholic.

Children’s Church is held during Sunday Worship. Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own worship. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn.

Children’s Outreach

We believe our children need an environment for nurturing though worship, participation in the Sacraments, and coming to understand the mission of the church. We want to provide a setting for children that enables them to grow and transition in their spiritual life by participating in worship and with the sacraments, in teaching them to practice spiritual disciplines, and in being involved in various areas of the church.

Various activities are held for children and youth. Children and youth are encouraged to be involved in the service. Youth meet several Saturdays each month. Contact the church office to find out more information.

Youth Outreach

The youth meet several Saturdays each month. The youth group offers young people a time of fellowship with other teens. We provide our young people with time for studying God’s word. In addition to fellowship and study, our young people go on day trips to meet other UMC teens.

United Methodist Men

The United Methodist Men’s group began over 70 years ago. It has served several generations of men at Casa Emanu-El in their calling to do God’s work. The United Methodist’s Men’s group is very active in missions, outreach, and fellowship among all men. There are several bible studies though out the year. Join the men at 8:30 am on Sundays.

United Methodist Men (UMM) gives the men of our church special times of interaction. UMM  meetings consist of Bible study, prayer and, of course, food. UMM spreads the gospel through works and word. They actively participate with other UMM groups throughout the Rio Grande Conference. Contact the church office to find out more information.

United Methodist Women

The United Methodist Women have also been working for over 70 years. Casa Emanu-El presents an opportunity to study God’s word and minister to our community. The United Methodist Women have been active in missions and outreach. They are raising up Godly women to do His work for His kingdom. Join the women at 8:30 am every first Sunday of the month.

Working Women

The Working Women was established to offer fellowship and bible study to all women with similar interests. It shall also be a group providing service to the church and the community. The fund raisers done by the Working Women are dedicated to supporting the children, youth, and young adult ministries of the church.

The Working Women group allows women of all ages, who work full-time, an opportunity to worship, learn, and enjoy fellowship. Contact the church office to find out more information.

We welcome and encourage members to be involved in the choir. The choir meets on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm and Sundays at 9:00 am. If you like to sing or play a musical instrument, we would enjoy having you as a part of our music ministry. Contact  our Director of Music Ryan Lake at or the church office to find out more information.
